About Minéraux Mart Inc.
Welcome to the Mineraux Mart Inc. web site. We have been active in the metallurgy and ferroalloy industry since 1978.
Located in the Sorel-Tracy region, our company offers complete services for mineral and ferroally supplies.
Other than our usual storage, packaging and loading/unloading services, Minéraux Mart Inc. can crush, screen, mix and dry material. We also have a vast laboratory for research and development, principally for process validation and product characterization.
Recently, the set up of a distribution center in Chicago gave us an opening on the American market.
The port, rail and road facilities available to our distribution centres allow for receiving and shipping of products worldwide. With these amenities so accessible, Minéraux Mart can easily distribute the merchandise from some of the best producers in the world, as in the case of the company Elkem.
We are very proud to count several international players such as Rio Tinto and Arcelor Mittal among our major clients. We also serve the majority of steel plants, foundries and aluminium plants in Eastern Canada.
During the last few years Minéraux Mart has invested hugely in improving their environmental standards, which has also allowed them to realize huge economies in energy used and enabled them to reduce greenhouse gases by more than 50%.
The social aspect of Minéraux Mart’s mission has been taken to heart by their over 65 employees; their professionalism and experience has proven to be profitable to their clientele and to the community.
Sustainable development
Sustainable development is an integral element of the Minéraux Mart Group’s philosophy. Whether it’s in the metallurgical market with Minéraux Mart Inc and Mineraux Mart USA, LLC, or in the sports domain with the Contrecoeur Regional Sports Centre under the direction of the Zabo Group, or the humanitarian commitments of the Carré Royal Residence and the Foundation for the Carré Royal Residence, Michel Beaudoin and Christiane St-Germain made it their mission to diversify their various sectors of operations.
